What breed is this?

Hi there
This is my 5 year old gelding Whisky. Please don't mind the ratty hair and the filth. I have been told pretty much the same thing from everyone I know concerning what type of breed he is but would like other opinions. Thanks in advance!

It is hard to say he looks to be qh but he also has a look of maybe a walker or a gaited type of horse.

I'd say Morab. =) Just his stance is making me think Arab and his tail set is kinda high like an Arab but then his head looks thicker than most Arabs. He could be full Arabian though, it's hard to tell..

Fabio - 13 year old Arabian/Lipizzan gelding
Hazel - 14 year old Angora goat

Atticus - 4 year old LaMancha/Alpine cross goat

Rest peacefully, Lacey.

I am going to say Quarab or maybe appendix type horse. His head looks quartery to me, but he's not well muscled toned as some quarters, so thats where the thoroughbred or Arabian comes in. but i had a quarter horse and his main and tail was that same texture, he was more bulk though.

If he were more stocky he could definitely be a Quarter cross of some sort. Though by the looks of him in his current state I'd guess Morab.

His is certainly a pretty guy! No matter what his breeding actually is, you should be proud to have him. I agree with several of the others...he looks definitely quarter horse, but with a cross of either arab or thoroughbred. Very possibly some morgan as well.
