My first ride was on an evil little shetland pony that bucked you off and then you would have to run from him or he would try to trample you... of course my parents had no idea I was doing this! Then I bought my first horse, she was an untouched yearling solid paint. So I learned to train her the hard way!! LOL!! By my pain and suffering, but I loved that mare!! I worked for a trainer at the time, so I leased a mare from them to ride at fair. She was a beautiful reining mare named Hy-Gro Dodger (Opie for barn name). She taught me so much!!
