What Breed do you think he is?

Hi I'm new here. I have a 12 year old black grade gelding. I have always wondered what breed he is, even though he is probably just Quarter horse. He has gaits different from any other horse I've ridden. Big and snappy trot (also a lovely jog), rocking horse canter, his gallop is so so (he looks/feels impressive, but is actually pretty slow LOL!). With the one saddle I used on him the one summer he did a interesting gait, it felt like he was half cantering and half jogging. Really smooth to ride. He never has gotten very much training (I bought him two years ago and have been gone a lot). He tends to act like a two year old at times (OOOHHH! The grass moved in the ditch!!!), but then at other times a grouse can fly up in his face and he barely blinks an eye. He gets freaked out every time he sees a moose (even though there is one that lives in his pasture). Anyways here he is..

I know he is got quite the belly! He always looks like a broodmare, I don't ride him near enough. Right now I can't ride him as he is still at Dad and Mum's place 3 1/2 hours away. I miss my boy, but hopefully it'll work out that I can have him closer this fall or winter.

He looks a lot quarter horse to me. For some reason, I'm thinking he looks a bit like a Standardbred, too (maybe it's the head, haha). He also looks like he might be wormy? Could just be hay belly, though.

He very well could have been wormy... These were taken last winter/spring (riding) he was recently dewormed. So no need to worry about that now.
I wondered if maybe he had TWH, but never thought of Standardbred. That would make more sense here in Saskatchewan. We got him from a PFRA pasture rider/horse dealer. Who knows where he came from.
