Appendix QH would be my best guess!

That is what came to mind for me as well.

It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference.

I'd say QH crossed with something narrower and with higher withers, though I don't know if I'd say TB because he's only 14.3... but I'm not really sure.

His body looks very QH but his head is more like a TB. He's a cutie :)

He could be a full blood TB. Not all of them are 16hh+. He may be a QH/TB cross though. He def looks to have TB in there somewhere.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

He looks like a Walker/QH cross to me. Gaited horse crosses often have the nicest trots, along with laid back shoulders and higher withers.

Or, he could be a TB/QH (Appendix) that just didn't come out very tall. My bet would be walker/qh though. Or standardbred or saddlebred cross.

He looks better when he's thinner too . He's gotten cresty and goose-rumped with all that weight on him. Pictures 4 & 5 show him at a good weight for his build/type.
