What breed do you think he looks like?

This is Richie, he was sold to me as an Anglo Arab, however I have had a few people comment that he looks like he is part Clydesdale I wouldn't be surprised if the previous owners had his breed wrong, as his age was different. He is 16h. I'm just curious.
I feel silly for asking but what colour would you call him? When he is clean, his mane and tail go quite blond. I've just been saying he is a chestnut, is that right?

Sorry not great photos, they were the best I could find.

Well there is no genetic difference between Sorrel and Chestnut but if I were to choose between the 2 for him I would say sorrel because of how much litter his mane and tail are then his base coat color. As to breed, I dont really see any Clydesdale in there

I'd say it's more likely there's Belgian/TB, maybe some arab in there. His coloring is much more like Belgian. Cute guy! What do you do with him?

I think he definitely looks to be part arab. Im not sure I see the thoroughbred though. He almosts looks like a belgian cross with his color, flaxen hair and white face. His hip reminds me of a draft cross too. Thats not to say he's not an anglo-arab..you can have such variations in any breed.

To me he looks like he has a little bit of the pangare marking going on, like a Belgian?

He's a handsome boy! Um...myself, I see Arabian and TB, but that's not all that I see. Maybe one of his parents was Belgian/TB?

I gave him a bath today and put a natural stain remover through his tail and mane, which isn't meant to change his colour at all just get rid of dirt stains, and his tail has come out white blond.

He is my dad's horse that he is learning to ride on, but I usually ride him a bit for the exercise. I have just started doing some jumping on him, I'm hoping to take him to a showjumping/cross country thing at the end of this year. He loves it so much, I have a few logs in one of the paddocks that he just flies over.

He's pretty! I can see Arabian in there, and maybe a little Belgian too.
I'd call him a chestnut too.
