i think hes would be a cross between newforewst or newfoundland with dales or dartmore:) mabey exmoor caus eof the coloring!

yeah def not connemara

he is only 6 so i doubt the greying is from age. i havent actually met him yet. the lady said these pics are from when she was enquiring about him to buy and she doesnt have any recent ones but according to her his colouring is different to the pic. she says he is more buckskin like now. hes getting here next friday so ill get some more pics

a lot of people are saying welsh x. i can kinda see it but not at the same time :P if that makes sense lol

piaffe - i agree he looks roan in the pic. im beside myself waiting for him to come so i can actually see the colour in real life :)

ok so he arrived today and his colouring is very different to the previous pics. definitely buckskin

i forgot to say...whats everyone opinions on an adult riding him? im only 5'3" and about 56kgs which i think is around 120lbs...i think lol ive seen adults bigger than me riding ponies of this size and have always felt sorry for the pony. im small and light so im figuring it will be ok but im a big worrier about horse comfort etc

He is not a connemara either.

From his colouring and shape he is probably and exmoor or dartmoor cross bred.
