What breed do you think my horse is?

Hey guys! My horse, Thomas is a rescue. So, I don't know what breed he is.. We have some ideas but aren't for sure. Anyways, I'd love to know what you guys think! Some other details about him: 5 years old, Rescued at 22 months, does jumping, barrel racing, trails, etc. and he has very hairy legs with feather at his fetlocks but we shave them for showing, Texas heat and such.

The first thing that popped into my head was draft/ tb cross. Maybe Belgian/tb.

I too can see possible Belgian, and/or maybe some Hanoverian. (But I'm no expert since I don't own a horse. Just a guess from someone who knows nothing- *eyeroll*)

But the word "warmblood" keeps popping up in the back of my mind for some reason.

Thanks for the reply! Being 15 hands I'm not sure he has Belgian in him, but it could always be a possibility, just not sure! (:

I think it might be a hanovarian/tb or an iberian/tb mix. Those breeds just come to mind by it's height and general body style, and just by it's pictures it's head has that typical iberian slope.

Draft crosses can be any size, they don't necessarily take after draft height.

I know a Belgian/tb cross just exactly like yours, just about 15hands :)
