What breed do you think my mare is?

What breed do you think my mare is? The guy I bought her from days that she is a QH but she doesn't have papers. She holds her head high and has a very high stepping trot..so I am thinking she is saddlebred or a mix with a saddlebred at least!

I'm finding it near impossible to see anything from that photo, would it be possible for you to take some different ones?

Agree with Born to Run - we need photos in daylight, side on, and maybe some of her moving? Or even video of her moving?

Sorry about that!! Please excuse how she looks in this pic, this is when I first got her and she has gained weight since then.

Hard to say, she looks like a cross to me, but I would be inclined to guess Arab rather than Saddlebred. I am seeing an awful lot of smooth muscle composition in her rear end and legs...

Doesn't look Arabian to me at all. My guess would be a QH cross.

I'd say full QH, or QH cross.

I'm thinking mostly QH, maybe with a bit of Morgan too?
