My thoughts exactly :) A great horse is just that " a great horse " does not need papers to clarify that... As far as this horse, my educated guess as per previous posts, was either Tb, qh or Tb, saddlebreed...My horse supposedly has papers, but I have not looked into it. I love my horse regardless of something stated on paper. Obviously if I show, then will need papers. However if I changed her name and decide to register, do I have to go back to original name, or may I do a name change? :)

You cannot change the name of a horse that has earned any points or has any registered offspring (as far as AQHA/APHA/JC goes).

Great to know...thank you..i had changed my horse from Daisy to Savannah, I feel Savannah is a strong name and fits her much better . Not sure what her registered name is..
