What breed is he?

So, my best friend and I went halfies on this horse because he's just a great horse and the owner wanted him to go to a great home. We didn't pay much for him so knowing an exact answer isn't necessary. Anyway, she said he's a Canadian Norwegian Fjord crossed with something. He isn't papered. I thought I would ask you all for you expertise. Upon research, I learned a Fjord is Bay with white hairs. So, I'm wondering what he is crossed with.

Fjords aren't bay with white hairs, they are dun. There's also no such thing as a "Canadian Norwegian Fjord." Fjords bred in Canada are no different than Fjords bred elsewhere in the world.

As for his breed, he does appear to be some sort of draft cross (Fjords are considered light drafts). How tall is he?

Sorry. I know nothing about the breeds. I thought she said Canadian, but maybe I miss understood her. He is around 15, maybe 16 hands.

Oh. She said he was born in Canada. Haha. Sorry. I'm re -reading my notes on him. And he's 9 years old. And sorry, dun, can you tell I don't know much about colours either.

His origional owner just replied to me. He is a Canadian x Norwegian Fjord. So that must be why I had Canadian. I thought she meant born in Canada by the Scribble notes I had on my paper. It's not like it really matters. I was just curious about it. Thanks for the replies, I think I have my answer.

Looks like he could be a Fjord cross.
He has the sweetest expression! :)

There is a breed of horse called the Canadian Horse, don't ask me what it looks like but there is a breeder north of me that Americans that do medievel festivals travel to & buy from.
