Looks like a grade QH to me.

Maybe a little TB in there but all in all looks like a QH.

p.s. just because he does not act like your TB does not mean he is not a TB although most horses behaviors have to do with there breed there are those rare few who are "rare"! also depending on the pureness of the lines determines the "look" of the horse. I also wanna point out JUST BECAUSE IT MAY BE A TB DOES NOT MEAN IT IS GOING TO BE A HARD KEEPER, although it is more common to find "hard keepers" in the TB breed I would not say that is a known fact about the breed/all TB, I have known many TB to be VERY easy keeps.

now that I look at his picture again he kinda looks like a gelding my friend has that is Req. Paint

(not the best just easiest ones to find, if these do not work I will look for some other ones later)
*for the slow ones out there :) -like me- (: each word is a link to a different picutre and its the one that is biggest on the right side of the screen*

That's funny because I was thinking he looked like a breeding stock paint with something else to explain his slight roman nose. Maybe Standardbred? or Mustang? A lot of them have Roman noses.

Haha (:
Thanks for all the opinions!
And I wasn't saying he wasn't a TB for those reasons it just dint seem like much of a possibility. Especially since I have one and they are so completely different. But that's me and it's just hard to see him being TB. Lol (:
And who knows? Haha. That's what I'm trying to figure out :P

I was thinking QH and with his parking out behavior, maybe some TWH or foxtrotter. My mom's foxtrotter had a huge head! He looks darling :)

My friend's 10yo arab gelding parks himself out when he's under saddle. He's seen regularly by an equine chiropractor, so it isn't a pain issue. He's just more comfortable that way. He does it pretty sneaky, too. He'll be standing there all normal and then will slowly inch his legs out until he's parked out. Most hilarious thing I have ever seen.

So to answer your question, yes, gaited horses stand parked out, but it isn't just gaited horses that do it, necessarily.

Do not tell me I can't...because I will show you that I can.

I'm going to toss it out there about a QHxMorgan. Hero looks almost -identical- to Lucky (my lease horse). They have the same build, same head shape, etc. And, they're colours are about the same, lol. I had to do a double-take to make sure it wasn't, Lucky only has one sock and a bit more White to her face.
But, Lucky parks out in the field and undersaddle, but I cannot get her to park out in-hand for the life of me. I guess it's a good thing..because she's been trained to always square up. She's also about the same size, I believe Lucky's 15.3hh.

I do have to vote for QHxMorgan though, I don't really see any tb, or mft/twh
