My friends had a pony that was built like her. She was a cross between a Fell Pony and a Welsh Cob (section C), but her mane and tail were A LOT longer. Is her mane cut?

Yep her mane and tail are cut quite short. And her coat is shaved but the legs and part of the face aren't, which is why she looks like she has two colours. X
I love this pony XD

Edit: I just noticed how terrible my feet look in these pictures! Ignore that :L

Just out of curiosity why don't you shave the legs and face? Is that a breed thing because I've seen another horse on this forum that was shaved like that and it was a fell pony. I think it had very similar coloring too.

Whisper- they are clipped (most of the time only if they're worked in the winter) so they dry faster when they sweat in the winter. Long winter coats take forever to dry when horses sweat so it's just easier to clip them and then blanket them. And I think some people who show clip them in shedding season so they have a clean cut look for the shows.

(if i'm wrong someone please correct me)

She is pure black, right? Maybe some kind of Gypsy cross?? She looks like a small draft horse, lol
