Default What breed is this mare???

This is my Mother-in-Law's mare and we are not sure of her breed. She is between 25-30 years old. Rather small framed with small hooves. However she is quite tall and sound for her age. Can anyone tell us what she is?

Can't tell from that pic very well, I judge breeds a lot by their head... but her body is QH-ish... so shes a QH cross but not sure what crossed with...

I say appy/arab though the appy is definatly stronger than the arab. I see arab in the neck and throat latch and the tail/croup area.

IMO, I don't see appy. I dont' see any sclera or mottling, hooves don't look striped. I think the grey hairs are from age.

I think that she is a qh cross. I also do not see the mottling or the striped hooves that appy are supposed to have.

She has no mottling. The grey hairs are from age. She is jet black, a little brown underneath and in tail, with the small star on forehead.

I agree with the QH, just don't know what she's crossed with.
