What breed is my horse???

Hi all,

We adpoted Karma and we are wondering what everyone thinks she is.
I can get better pics if need be, took them quickly in the barn tonight.

She is about 14hh, and was an abused horse ( very head shy, hates being caught) and this guy had his horses taken away because of the abuse. Getting her to trust us is taking a while, but she is worth it! Once you have her, she is a sweet heart, will do anything you ask. Our vet thinks she is about 9yrs of age. She has possibly been bred to a reg'd QH, so doing a vet check tomorrow to find out. She wouldnt be due til end of summer Aug/Sept

We were thinking QH/Morgan cross ? Her mother is a very solid, almost drafty type.

As far as coloring and the general picture goes, she looks exactly like my mare, Snickers :) Who is a QH... but if her mother was a drafty type then I don't know!

Thanks and Gig'em!

Unless it is an Arabian, I'm no good at guessing. I just wanted to comment on the second picture... It looks like she has eyebrows, and she has a comically suprized look. Love it, cute mare.

She looks to me like a QH type, with maybe a little morgan in her. I would say that would be a good guess. Especially due to her size, since she is on the smaller side.

She could be a QH/welsh cross. I had a gelding who looked pretty similar to your mare. We didn't know what kind of cross he was for sure.. but it was either welsh/qh, arab/QH or morgan/QH.

I would guess Qh or QH X. SHe has an adorable face, such a sweet expression, and is built like a fire plug!
