I'd say tennessee walker / quarter horse... she's definitely gaiting in one of the pictures. Tennesse walkers can often have the delicate, pretty head like some arabians. The rest of her seems stocky and muscular, characteristic of many quarter horses
she seems lovely, whatever she is! :) those ears!

I too love the more substantive Arabs.. Looks like a powerful fella!

OP-- looks like there's a bit of Arab in there, but I'm not sure it's full half.. I'd guess Quarab..

For those who don't like me-- it's mind over matter; I don't mind - - and you don't matter.

Oh, definitely! If he feels like refusing to stop, I haven't got a prayer of convincing him to, not in his snaffle at least. Not with that neck/front end, he's like a steam train when he wants to be. When he was still jumping the big stuff he was jumping big oxers at 1m40 wide, 1m high [lack of height is because I'm a wimp, he could easily have gone higher]. I don't want him going any higher than 2'6 now though, he gets too stiff.

His Arab half is 100% Crabbet and his TB half is staying bred from a line that likes to throw solid built, powerful horses. I'm constantly being asked if he's either a QH or a draft cross, although Arab people can usually see the Arab in him. Last week I was asked if he was Arab cross Clyde.. nope, registered Anglo!

If I could find one big enough [most of them I've seen in my area top out at 15.2, I like my horses around the 16.2 mark] I'd love a 100% Crabbet. Mum calls Monty my "chainsaw sculpture horse" because he has all the lines of a really pretty refined Arab through his head and neck but he is a CHUNK. Nothing delicate about this Arab cross!
