What breed are these??

Take a look through this photographers album. (click the link on the right hand side of the page that says Eduardo Amorim's photostream)
Some of you may not like a few of his pictures, as I can see the rearing/rodeo ones possibly ending badly (but who am I to say I have no idea) aka you could find them cruel. But these horses seem to be equivillent to gods amongst these people, and they all look fit and healthy...

But anyway, that's not why I'm posting this link. I'm wondering what breed you think these horses are, I mean the roman heads, thick, sculpted bodies and the beautiful markings, I've never seen horses like this before!

Does anyone know??

For some reason I want to say they are Criollo's, not very sure though.

Yea...yea they do kind of look like a Criollo don't they? I'm very unfamiliar with that breed so I never would have guessed. I think you might be right :)

If I am reading correctly the 'rodeo' horses are criollo's.
Although the rodeo looks rather rough, if you look closely most of the horses are being ridden without bits, most without saddles and most of the riders are not wearing spirs. I am not an advocate for rodeo's but this type seems to be as honest as it gets.

These horses in the pictures are criollos from Brazil and they are competing in jinetadas,(rodeos)
