What breeds?

I know I will never know what breed(s) Rascal may be, but I do find it fun to get people's opinions - especially as he changes over time. These were taken yesterday - what do you think he could be?

He is 2-ish (still has all his baby teeth yet) and around 14 hands.









From the spring:

He looks like he's got some draft, but im no expert in breed guessin lol. But I do love his nose <3

I wonder if any one knows of a draft cross that ended up being only around 14 hands? Could be though - that is what my vet thought when I first got him last year, but he was also thinking he was going to grow taller, but he hasn't.

Draft or not he's still handsome!

He looks drafty to me too. Maybe a heavier pony breed, pulling type Haflinger or a cob of some sort?

The ad that got me to go look at him last year listed him as a haflinger, but I'm not sure that is because he has haflinger in him, or if they thought "short and stocky" lets just call him a haflinger to get views.

You already know what I think - look at his head in that third picture...

I think he is a haflinger, he's got the color and build like one but he is a bit more stocker. Long face big front end... I think he will still keep growing. They grow up til theyre 5 years old.
