Well, I guess all you have to do is look at my horses section to see! Anyways, we know he is percheron/paint on his father's side and either appendix QH or TB and maybe a tiny bit of clyde on his mother's side (she's the wild card, just have a picture). My old farrier told me the ermin spots on his feet are a TB trait? I was told he was 1/2 draft, 1/2 something else when I got him but big as he is, I think he's more than 1/2 draft. He's 17.3+ and around 1800 lbs. Right now as a 4 1/2 yr. Old, wears a size 5 shoe.
I think he looks like an Appendix Quarter Horse. Appendix horses and Quarter Horses crossed with TB. The height comes from the TB. He has a Quarter horse head and body. He is well muscled like a Quarter Horse with the height of a TB.
Just for size comparison, here he is next to an average, 15 hand mare last weekend. Pretty funny! My daughter is about 5' 4" now. I'm 5' 9" so when I'm on him, people don't think he's big until they get near him.
