Arrow What do YOU think?

Do you think he's an American Saddlebred or a Tennessee Walking Horse or something else?

He is 12 years old. Champagne color, and about 16.1 hands tall.

My gut feeling is Tennessee Walker, because of his head. I'm definitely no expert on this. I'll vote TWH, but I'm unsure.

I definitely. See Saddlebred. I work with 3 Walkers everyday, and have worked with many others, and I personally don't see a trace of it in him.

I see Saddlebred. From the way he's picking up his feet at the trot in the 4th picture down, it looks like he's had some show training.

Polomino? Even with those amber eyes? I have had a couple of color people tell me he is for sure a champagne. In winter fuzz he is almost white.

In summer he is a metallic wheat color.

I'd say he's Champagne. Palominos typically have black skin, while Champagnes have mottled or pink skin.

I'm not terribly familiar with the differences, my apologies.

Yep, I'd say he's definitely Gold Champagne. I'm also going to vote Saddlebred.

I thought walker when I saw his head, then I saw his gate and it screamed saddlebred. I think he is either saddlebred or saddlebred x (maybe with T walker).
