We had one briefly when my daughter's were small. She was a real sweetheart...once you caught her. Catching her was another story. We bought her on a trial basis, but she was so hard to catch, the girls only got to ride her a couple of times. When the previous owner came to take her back home, he had to borrow my husband's horse, chase her down and rope her.
Don't panic - he didn't rodeo her or anything - he tossed the rope over her head and once she felt that, she was caught and all was well.
If we could get past that hard to catch thing, she would have been ideal. She was exactly what my older daughter needed at the time as far as her training level went. Daughter's had been riding a shetland, but the older one was getting a bit big for the little pony.
If I could find another POA (not too many around here) I'd snatch it up for the grandkids!
