What do you think of this mini???

Hi all! I am getting my first mini! She is almost 5 months old and I am supposed to pick her up on Friday. Seller says she is a silver bay and can be double registered. They breed for color, so not keeping her. Here are some pics, so please tell me what you think!!!

Hope the uploads worked

Super Cute! Are you going to show her? Is she going to be a silver bay or a chestnut?

no plans to show her...the seller said she is going to be a silver bay. When I looked up silver bay, there is a huge color difference, from a chocolate coat color with flaxen mane and tail to chestnut/sorrel coat color with flaxen mane and tail...not sure where she will fall, but am hoping for the chocolate! Also, in these pics, her mane is dark and tail is flaxen???

I love her little dished face... how tall is she? I also like that she stands good on her legs. Just super cute

there is no telling what color she will shed out to be! Babies change so much as they get older

She sure is a cutie though!

It is a nice little baby, but expect more like 36-38 inches, 31 inches as a 5 month old is a TALL baby. My 36 mare was 26 inches at 8 months old. If that gives you a starting point for height. She does look silver bay, but miniature tend to shed out lighter than what they are as babies, her mane will most likely grow in lighter also. So expect more towards the sorrel with lighter legs and flaxen manes and tails. Is she duel registered with AMHR and AMHA or another registry. AMHA will not accept anything over 34 inches tall even if the parents were registered with them. The AMHR will accept up to 38inches in their B division. In the AMHR there is the A division which is up to 34 inches and the B division, over 34 but not to exceed 38 inches. She is definitely the arabian style miniature though, no doubt about that face.

You know how to make a miniature horse even smaller? Leave them in the dryer a little longer!

If you don't plan to show her then I wouldnt worry about the height... but it will effect the registering like minihorse stated. She just looks soo lovable!!!
