what is he?????

This is DayKota, he is a 15.2hh black/white tobiano paint gelding. My dad bought him for me and I was wondering what he is, I was told he looks like he as arabian in him but eveybody tells me something different. I was also thinking spotted saddle horse as he looks and acts alot like one but he's not gaited.

There's no Arabian in that horse that I can see.

I agree, in those photos he just looks like a regular ol' Paint

I gotta agree. Paint horse. He's cute and what a nice thing for a dad to do!

Well if he's registered as a Paint, that's what he is. If not registered, then he's a pinto of unknown background. I don't see Arabian there or Saddlebred. He's sure got some mighty long pasterns. Pretty fellow and what a nice surprise for you.

Thanks he's not reg. I don't really care what he is, he's a horse and im glad I have him, the funny thing is my dad hates horses so it was a suprize my dad even got him.

He's very cute, what a great surprise!

I *personally* think people probably say Arab due to his high tailset.

I couldn't even begin to make a guess at what he is though, so many possibilities.

I say pinto then! As Lizzie said if he's not registered with the APHA then he's technically not a paint. I don't see any arab or saddlebred in him either. He is a pretty horse though, congrats!

Have you a profile of his head, close up? I'd like to see it if you have. How old is he? Does he or has he been trained, to park out?

He looks like a paint, I don't really see anything else in him.
