What is he bred for?

My friend has a buckskin AQHA gelding. His registered name is Meadowlark Timbit. Just wondering what his lines are like and what he is bred for.

Here's his pedigree:
Meadowlark Timbit Quarter Horse

And a pic because he's gorgeous:

He was probably bred for his color? His background doesn't seem to shout "Hello! I was made to *whatever*" He'd probably be a really nice all around horse (After all, he is a QH, they can do anything! :). I bet your friend could have fun showing him in halter at local shows, and if he has the right attitude/heart she could probably have herself a fun speed/gaming horse too.

What would help is some better pictures. He has some good horses in his background, but some good confo pictures often tell more than any bloodlines.
