Even though I have a QH, I love those Walkers for trail riding. They love to go, and are sooooooo comfortable. I definitely would consider one in the future :)

That's about as broad a question as asking what type of shoe to buy.

I'd be less worried about breed and more worried about personal connection.

if you are looking at eventing etc I would go a tb. Western would be paint or qh and endurance type riding would suit an arab.

However as someone else said, look more at the emotional connection you have with the horse and base it on that. There isnt much point getting a gorgeous tb for eventing if you don't get on well together.
