Although, even a line down her spine doesn't guarantee a dun gene. Many bays, buckskins, even some palominos have faint dorsal stripes caused by countershading.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Haha Nope she doesn't. I went out and played with her tonight. She is so smart. She will load now on my trailer off lead. That is so cool.

if she is only 2 then she still has lots of growing to do! they usually grow till they are around 5 or 6 and i knew a paint gelding who was the scrawniest thing until the summer of his 3 yr old year and he grew up and out lol i believe he grew a whole hand and a half you would never guess it was the same horse because of how tiny he was. give her time she may have a huge growth spurt or she may not, but you might be suprised when you look out there and notice she is getting closer to the same size as the others! good luck to you both and she is a beautiful girl! and i'm not really a bay person but i love her coloring and the contrast between her black and brown
