What kind of Quarter horse..?

Howdy! This is Digger, a 11 year old Registers Quarter horse paint! My parents, being the wonders they are, lost his papers! And Im wondering if anyone can tell what generation of Quarter Horse he is?
Here is two photos:

He would be Paint, not QH, even tho Paints have QH lines. Call the APHA to get duplicate papers. If they're not in your (parents) name you'll have to go to previous owner and go through them.

If he's not registered in APHA, maybe it was a Pinto registry he's registered with, but not AQHA.

Whatever he is, he's cute! Good luck!

I'm not understanding your 'generation' question?

Yeah, what do you mean by generation? Are you asking what age he is?

Well, yes, this is true. He is in fact not a QH, but, excluding the obvious, if he WERE a QH, I think he looks more more foundation-y. Which I think is what the OP wanted to know.

As a previous post-er said, if he was in your parents' name with the APHA or PtHA, they can call the registry and get instructions on how to get duplicate papers. Its not too difficult, and not too expensive. If he was NOT in your parents' name, if they know his registered name, they can call and find out the name/address of the last recorded owner. They can still get duplicate papers-- but the last recorded owner has to sign the application and the transfer of ownership for you.

I was under the impression you can double register a paint in the AQHA, if they are eligable.
