Ponies...definitely something to consider for later, when I'm too old to ride....we'll drive then....

He's about 13.1 and 20 now, but still a speed demon! Oh just checked his breeding - he was out of a welsh A and his dad was an arab called Antic.

Do you have a little more about the Arab side? Don't know anything about Welsh, but with Arab I might

He seems a lot like a Shetland... but WAY more refined. That might be because of Welsh blood? I also see Exmoor in him too.
Shetland pony; not nearly as refined as your pretty boy.
This is the Welsh mare I rode when I was little.
I also see Exmoor in him... but they are pretty rare, so maybe not.

All in all, you have a beautiful little boy! Hope this helps.

Here is a picture of our Hackney pony (possible part Shetland). Her back end reminds me of your pony.

And here is our old pure Shetland pony. She was roughly 10.hh.

I'm not sure to tell you the truth! We don't have papers on her, but the place we got her from said she was Shetland... She defiantly wasn't like those Shetlands that look like mini Arabs.

What an odd 'small world' thing
I love your pony btw
We had a welsh x arab that lived to be in his 30's and never lost his buzzy attitude. When the boys outgrew him I took him hunting thinking he would be a good influence on the youngsters - no one told him that was what was expected though!!!
