    the mare that's in the pen next to the two mustangs down at the BLM for training is HUGE. Like - 16.3 and built like a tank. It amazes me every time I see her that she's that big and came off the range. Smart smart girl to boot.

    The flip side are the more petite 14hh horses that have obvious spanish blood in them. The nice part about the BLM office is that they can look up the horse's tag # and tell you what herd it came from and give you some idea of what the horses in that herd tend to mature into. Always fun!
