I love how my horse loves to work. After a workout ill be leading him out of the ring and he'll just plant his feet and look at me as if to say "Are we done? I havnt even started yet!" He always wants to work! And whenever he sees me coming to his stall with his tack his eyes just twinkle and he lets out a HUGE whinny!

I feel like he understands me when I talk to him. I'll talk to him about stuff I'm worried about and you know.. all that stuff you can't talk to anyone else about and he'll just rest his head on my shoulder and close his eyes while I have a conversation with him or sing his favorite song "Candy Girl" by the Archies

He also used to know how to unlock his stall bolt and one time I saw him out in the courtyard (usually he escaped when not many people were at the stable that day) and id yell out his name in a stern voice and he would look at me with the cutest look and then he would actually go back and walk into his stall and close the door with his muzzle! It was the cutest thing I've ever seen and I never even trained him to do it.

I just love animated, and humanlike he is. But mostly I love how he enjoys life...

    Hey,

I acually took the time to read your post ellie, it seems like your horse has been here before! I like horses with abit of attuide, makes them fun to work with.
I have 16 horses, so I will pick out the faviorite (it changes each week) He is called 'Newborn Landing', he is only 3yr but he has the most - I don't know how to explain it, funny I guess attuide.
He has more determination than 5 horses put together.

I won't go on forever but- we had to put him down earlier this year due to colic, that's what we think anyway.... He was my best mate, like you said I told him my every secret (more than I tell my wife) he would respond. I loved him so much.....
But I guess the good things don't last..........

The one thing I love most? The way he yells "hello" to me when I go out in the morning and then comes up to the fence to get petted. Next best thing is the way he looks at me when I go someplace on my motorcycle, as if he's thinking, "Now why is he riding that instead of me?"

I love it when my mini runs up to me, nips and at me then after tossing his head runs off behind a tree. I run after him and he runs off...as if playing Hide and go seek or Catch me if you can

I think the thing I love the most is how kind my horse is. He has a kind eye and handles bad situations well. I love him no matter what. :)

Well I can't say too much because I've haven't really gotten to know my horse. I just got her two weeks ago, but I love the way she's willing to learn and love me, she's gives me confidence just being around her.

I love my horses personality. You can do anything to her and she won't be rude or try to bite anyone. She's truely a gentle giant.
