I have different "favorites" for different uses and purposes. I adore Clyde's and percherons for their size and beauty. To work with I adore QHs. To ride comfort wise I love Arabs.

Quarter horse, appaloosa, akhal teke, paso fino.

There are many others that I really enjoy looking at - but would not be particularly interested in owning.

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

FQH, Arabs, and Haflingers. I like my horses short. Easier for me to get on that way;)

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

Kaimanawa's! They're our native horse breed, and the most incredible loyal horses. I love them especially after hearing about the Wilson sisters working with the ones they got from a wild muster and our own pony, Tussock, who came from a wild muster a few years ago! Here's the link to the Facebook page following the journey of 11 horses from the 2012 muster that the Wilson sisters saved. https://www.facebook.com/KeepingUpWi...anawas?fref=ts

I love the baroque horse breeds, especially the Frederiksborger, Lusitano and Friesian.
