There are about a bazillion Wiescamp bred horses among Quarterhorses, Paints, and Appys. Some lines are considered top lines, others are mediocre. They are a bit of a mixed bag, honestly. Hank liked speed, other members of his family liked and bred for color, and there are a few suspicious horses that are likely the result of "fence jumping" - not unexpected as he ran his mares free range. Although he is one of the most famous horse breeders, and as I said, a lot of really great horses came out of his program, I wouldn't consider the name Wiescamp as a stamp of approval...

ETA...in direct answer to your question, I have had many Wiescamp bred horses as I used Plaudit lines heavily in my Appys and Araloosas. Here is an example - one of my former broodmares who is Plaudit linebred...note the 4 runs to Red Plaudit, purchased as a stallion by Wiescamp, 2 of the runs being through King Plaudit, the Hall of Fame stallion... http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/one+freckle2

A friend raised Weiscamp horses for years and did well. I believe she still has horses with that breeding.
