Cool Winter coats!!!

When do horses start lose'n their winter coat? I gotta STB and he's really fluffy lol

Aha my dutch warmblood has nearly lost all of hers, she's been moulting like crazy for a month, but my arab's still fluffy :)

When the days started getting longer.


One of mine is pretty much all shed out except two stubborn spots on his belly (that he hates to have groomed).
The other one is still pretty hairy.

But their bodies start shedding when the days start getting longer, which a long time ago.
