Am I actually getting the hang of this........

Ok a Dun stallion Ee AA to a grey mare (black as a foal) could possibly throw a chestnut is the the mare carries the red gene?
Is that right? Just want to know if I am any closer to understanding genetics...... Waiting for my mares test to happen :)

Yes, red is a potential if the mare does carry red.

You also need to know if the stallion is carrying one or two copies of dun and if the mare is carrying one or two copies of grey...

I am getting my girly tested for red and grey give me an idea. :) would love a bay but happy with anything she will produce other than chestnut lool but I will be keeping the foal whatever it may be :)
