Wink Baby colours

What colour will the foal of these two be?

The mare is black and white (she just looks brown and white in her winter coat)and the stallion is palomino (excuse the fluffy winter coats and terrible photos)

The mare has had a brown foal a few years ago not in our possesion and the stallion has produced several palomino foals with a bay mare, brown mare and also a dun (i think) mare.

Depends on agouti status of stallion and extension status of the mare. But without knowing that you could get black, smokey black, chestnut, palomino, bay or buckskin...with or without the mares tobiano

How do you know the agouti (what is this?) and the extension?

You have to have them tested to know for sure what their agouti status and black/red extensions are.

Agouti is what causes blacks to be bay/brown/wild bay. Extension is if they are red, black or carry genes for both red and black.

Without knowing their genetics you can get black, bay/brown, chestnut/sorrel, smokey black, buckskin or palomino.
