    Colour Confusion?

I was browsing flickr horse photos and I came upon this oddly coloured horse:

It looked like a palomino, but it doesn't have a lighter mane and tail? I'm so confused!

It's a buckskin. Possibly on a wild bay base as opposed to a classic bay base.

Hmm... looks suspiciously mottled on the muzzle and around the eye to me! I am going to go against the popular vote and say champagne.

No, just a side shot. Pretty horse, though. Looks big and fat, haha. I too see a bit of mottling, and I first though this is a very light colour for a buckskin, even on a wild bay base.

Definitely an amber champagne.. not a buckskin or a palomino

I saw that horse on another thread here I am pretty sure, They had other pics and she had green eyes. The consensus on that thread was amber champagne.
