Could it be Sabino?

My mini Echo has always stumped me. Of what I know/have read of the Sabino gene's behavior it starts on the chin and at the forehead as far as facial markings.

I have no record of her parents colors or markings, as she is registered with pedigree but it doesn't say their colors.

Here are her pictures, all taken today:

I was wondering if the white star indicates a minimally expressed sabino and the ticking was of Sabino origin? I could be wrong!
I might look into testing her just for the heck of it (I don't plan to ever breed her)

Thanks in Advance!

I don't thinks so. Red ticking is very common, particularly on red-based horses. It could be because you said she has white on her bottom lip. If you want to test her, go for it! We love when people test.

Any white is Sabino, technically. I would guess roaning.

Actually, it's theorized to be different mutations of sabino, but is not confirmed. Sabino1 is the only testable mutation available currently. But yes, any white is caused by some kind of gene; however, it is extremely common for chestnut horses to have random white hairs all over. There isn't enough tested research to confirm whether that is sabino at work or something related to ee, to my knowledge.
