Do golden eyes on a palomino connected to creme, silver, or champagne genes?

My mare Joy has golden eyes and when I say golden they are literally the same color of her coat. People always tell me they've never seen eyes like hers. Do these eyes have any important genetic link as to related to creme genes a palomino possesses or does it have to do with a different type of genetic precursor. Is it strange to have that kind of colored eye? All the palominos I've seen have had brown or lightly brownish gold eyes. I don't close up picture of her eyes but really all you need to do is look at her coat they are that color.

You can sorta see her eye color in these pics.
