foal colour?

What colour will the foal be?

Mare is a sorrel, and both parents sorrel as well

Stud is a really dark chestnut, his sire is a pally and his dam was also a dark chestnut.

Any quesses? Just a sorrel/chestnut colt? Or is there chance of pally or something?

100% chance of a sorrel/chestnut foal. The cream gene can't hide, if the horse carries it, then they show it. Therefore, the stud does not carry a cream gene and cannot pass it on to the foal.

You are guaranteed a chestnut foal. But the shade of chestnut can be anything from a very light flaxen sorrel/chestnut to a very dark liver chestnut. When is baby due?

Two chestnut/sorrel horses no matter what shade will always have a chestnut/sorrel foal.
