LOOOK white on a black hoof

I have a 2 year old filly that is bay with black legs, there is a white marking above the hoof but the hoof is black. Why???

The Bay in the middle on the front left leg has the marking.

It looks to just be a white marking on the coronet.

You could take a pic of just the leg for a better opinion.

It could be just a white marking that has not caused the hoof to whiten. It's unusual, to be sure, but not unheard of. The other thing is that it could be a scar from an old injury.
