New mini foal - buckskin?

Daddy is tobiano buckskin, momma is black. I'm pretty sure he's just buckskin. Buddy (the sire) just diluted Gracie (dam), correct? I'm trying to figure out what my friend's other mare might foal. She's sorrel. I thought buckskin could be a dilute of black, and palomino could be a dilute of sorrel...? Is my logic matching up with science? Haha.

Here's Buck. Yeah, real original name, right? That's what happens when you let grandkids name the baby. Haha.

Trained
Bay (aqouti gene) is a modification of black, and buckskin is a bay with cream.

Black + cream = Smoky Black
Red + Cream = Palomino
Black + Agouti + Cream = Buckskin

And yes the foal looks to be buckskin.

Just as an update, the sorrel mare ended up throwing a solid black foal. Interesting, huh?
