paint horse markings?

The other day I was watching a friend play with a paint shetie and I asked my other friend who was watching what his marking would be called they tryed to tell me but I got confused after a wile as we talked about all diffrent paint markings,i tryed to google it but I got all mixed up

So could anyone help me understand all the diffrent names of paint markings?

Most ponies, especially Minis and Shetlands, that I have ever seen have been Tobiano or some rendition of it.
Also (not that is really matters lol) but any pony with body pattern markings are Pintos, not Paints ;)
