Smile She's brown? But what's with the random white hairs?

This is my 2.5yo WB filly, Aspen.

She has random white hairs throughout her coat, mainly on her rump and near her wither. She also has a tiny area of white hair on her belly on her near side. What are these white hairs from? I don't think she has any greys in her pedigree? Her sire is Black and her dam is Chestnut. My friend asked me if there were any grey's in her pedigree, I don't think this is greying out at all (neither parent is grey either), but it made me wonder - where did the white come from?

Here is a link to her pedigree: Superfine Aspen Australian Warmblood

I used flash on the first two photos. Last photo shows her colouring - she's brown with a star.

I have a mare that is much the same colour as your horse. She is a registered paint and as she has gotten older the white hairs have increased.
I don't know if your horse has any grey in her background but she may have more white hairs also as she ages.

Random white ticking. Happens to most horses, no matter their colour or breeding. It may increase as she gets older, it may not.

My black mare has the same white hairs

As well as the random white hairs, mine also has "birdcatcher spots" and unfortunately it always looks like she's been pooped on by a bird haha
