Smokey Black Filly - Thoughts??

My new filly was born on March 22nd 2013 - she is the cutest thing!! Her mom is a Bay, and her dad is a almost white Palomino. Both are very pretty. Everyone thinks that she is a smokey black. We are going to get her color tested, but I wanted to see what you guys think. She was born black. She is a week old now, she now looks grey with black and she has palomino color ear hair and blue/green eyes. She also has a black tail but with white/grey hairs on the outside of it.

She could be smokey black but you'll need to test for cream as a single copy can't show on black pigment. It's not uncommon for black foals to have a silvery coat.

The pictures are not the best to judge from, however I think she is just black. Smoky black foals tend to be born a bit darker than their straight black counterparts. However, that is just an observation, not a rule, and you would have to test her to be 100% certain.
