The Natural Vet's "Feed for Success" plan is three products: Just Add Oats (powdered vitamins and minerals, feed one oz per day), Red Cal Salt & Minerals (granulated, feed free-choice in hanging buckets), and Weight Check Oil (pure, cold-pressed, non-GMO soy oil, feed 2-8 oz per day depending on horse's weight). These are all top dressed on just a cup of whole oats per day (or more, depending on horse's weight). My horses and mule have been on this program for almost four years, and no more rain rot or abcesses or mud fever, no more sunburning or sunbleaching. My fat, easy-keepers lost weight and kept it off, and my hard-keeper OTTB gained weight and keeps it on even through our NY winters with no blanket. It's pretty amazing, and Dr Dan is the nicest person! His whole crew is exceptional, and the customer service is unsurpassed. It's not cheap, but if you add up the cost of your feed and supplements, medicated treatments for skin or hoof issues, vet visits, etc, and consider the incredibly improved health of your horses, I think it's well worth the cost, plus you'll earn discounts with each purchase. His website is The Natural Vet - Natural Solutions For Common Challenges Facing People, Pets and Horses, and if you tell them I referred you I'll get a discount next month. I'd appreciate that :)
