Question What color is this horse?

Hi, my friend sent this horse to me asking what color she is, and I would say blue roan, but apparently she has a brown head. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

Looks gray to me too. She does look like a black or brown roan in some of the photos, but roan wouldn't affect the face or tail; she could be black or brown roan that is in the beginning stages of graying out. Is she fairly young?

Don't greys turn lighter on their heads first? I think blue roan.

Yes, it does. And you can see the paler hairs on the face already. Another indicator is the tail - you would expect a dark tail on a roan, but this horse has a lighter section to its tail. That is caused by grey too.

Mods, grant me the serenity to see the opinions I cannot change, courage to change the ones that should change, and the wisdom to spot the trolls.

Gray....Roans faces don't have roan, they have solid faces (some have the occasional random hairs on the jowels) and their tails are solid. She has white speckled throughout her face, and her tail has gray/white at the bottom and both are indicators of gray.

Conformation is how far the horse CAN go,
Mind is how far the horse WILL go,
Training is how far it DOES go.
