What colour? (again)

Curious what colour this boy is? Seems similar to the mare I posted. I trained him for a short while a few years ago and loved his colour, particularly his face:

Some sort of dun maybe a bay dun. The photo is a little dark so I'm not entirely sure of the color.

Definitely a dun. Can't tell what base, as the lighting is playing with the colours. Possibly bay dun.

Agreeing with the definite dun, but the base isn't clear with that lighting.

Pretty much the colour you see is what colour he is. Caramel brown with the darker briwn/blackish points. I love the dark almost "bloodspots" type mark on his shoulders, and his face.

How can you tell he is dun?

You can see hints at zebra barring on his legs, but primarily the shading on his shoulder and neck. That is a dun marking.

He could be bay dun, but it's also possible he could be dunskin.

Yep, a very heavy marked dun. Very pretty.
