What is his color?

Dont know paint terms too well...what color would you say he is? His ad said he is a Chestnut Overo....what would you say? Thanks!!






I was thinking minimal white Paint? LOL I have no idea!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Yeah, APHA would classify that under the generic term "overo." I don't think I'd even call him minimal, since he's pretty loudly marked. Sorrel base color (chestnut is basically the same thing; just a matter of semantics). I'd guess him genetically at frame/sabino, but those individual pattern genes aren't my area of expertise.

The only reason I was thinking minimal is just because as far as markings over his body...he really doesnt have a whole lot(IMO) compared to other Overo's that Ive seen....but like I said, not familiar with Paint markings what so ever!!

The APHA woukd just call him a sorrel overo. But he definitely has frame. I'm not the best with sabino, but he might have it based on his leg markings.

Not minimal in the least. But yes, is a sorrel/chestnut overo.
