What is HYPP?

Ive seen a few poeple on here talk about this when it comes to paints and QH im pretty sure...what exactly is it?

Oh wow...that sounds horrible! I didn't read it all but I read most of it. So they can actually die with this? Is it only seen in QH and paints? Or also in breeeds like thoroughbreds and ponies? Forgive me this is very interesting!

It is only found in horses that trace back to Impressive. So mostly QHs and Paints, but grades too, as so many of them are of that sort of breeds too.
