Question What is my mare's breeding?

I am not familiar with bloodlines, at all. I was wondering what my mare has in her bloodlines (pleasure, cowhorse, etc.), if anything.

Thank you, as always!

I'm not very familiar with most of the quarter horses in her pedigree (except for three bars) Three Bars is in the AQHA hall of fame. He was a racer.

Native Dancer is a well known race horse, if I remember right he had 22 starts, 21 wins and 1 place. He has a ton of progeny however foals that trace back to him seem to be pretty prone to having weak legs.

Bold Ruler is another well known race horse. He won the preakness by the way! Both of those stallions have horse of the year awards. (He was my thoroughbred's grand sire!) Bold Ruler is in the racing hall of fame, I'm not sure if Native Dancer is or not though.

With that being said I'm seeing the well known racing names but not much else, sorry if that's not much help. :\

It looks like the majority of her pedigree comes from race bloodlines. However, for Cool Hand Mcbreeze:
Halter Point Earner
Stallion Offspring Record for Cool Hand McBreeze
World Champion Offspring
Reserve World Champion Offspring
Halter Point Earners
Performance Point Earners

Outstanding Offspring for Cool Hand McBreeze
Cool Honey Breeze, IBHA World Champion
Cool Smoky Breeze, IBHA World Champion
SS Cool Honey Breeze, IBHA HLT ROM, Dun Factor

Not a lot of mention of reining or cutting...

Green Broke
Isle Breeze is out of a Top Deck stallion. Top Deck is a TB but is in the AQHA hall of fame and had 405 foals. Isle Breeze is also out of a Handcock/Three Bars mare, so im expecting some good leg from her. Your girl also has got some Two Eyed Jack and Poco Pine and Poco Nino lines as well on his sires side. So allot of stock horses over 6 gen back.

Thank you very much. Her breeding is nothing impressive, correct? Anything half way decent seems to be quite a ways back.

I would not say that, since she comes from good lines. Never discount the little known names as they could bring their own strengths to her lines.

Quite a bit of speed behind her. Blackburn was a speed demon. Do you have pictures of your mare?

Here are a couple shots of her. She has been out to pasture most of her life and is only really "trail broke". She obviously needs muscling and conditioning.
