What Would You Call This Leg Marking?

Tessa is my little red dun tobiano American Paint mare (as many of you know since I talk about her a lot haha). As a paint, she has lots of interesting markings, which I love. One marking she has is one I've never seen on a horse before. It's the diamond of white on her upper right hind. Is it just one of those funky paint markings, or is there an actual name for a marking like this on a horse's leg? (as in, an isolated patch of white, not a sock, stocking, etc.)

This is the full marking on her right hind. Her sock/stocking (it's uneven so I don't really know what to call it) rises up into a thin stream of white. Then her leg is solid again, then the diamond comes.

I also love the top of this marking:love:

I think it's just one of those weird markings they get. Cherokee ("my" tobiano) has a very interestingly shaped mark on his back left upper leg/hip that's faintly heart shaped. It isn't isolated like this one but close to it, only a tiny white line connects it to his stocking. Also yes, looks like all four of her legs have stockings. Very cute little mark she has.

No special names, just a white patch on her upper hind leg.
No special name for it, though I would likely call it a gaskin splotch LOL
Tobie has one sort of in the same place on the same leg. Must just be a tobiano thing...
I would guess it would be an overo thing over tobiano but haha the "proof" is on my own little gal. And wow, Tessa and Tobie could be twins! Both their names also start with a T!

Thank you all for responding! I was just curious if there was a specific name since there are certainly some weird names for specific markings (i.e. Ermine spots, which Tessa also has by the way:D). But it seems that I'll just have to make up a name for it lol. It was interesting to hear of all the "strange" marks on those horses! Tessa's not alone then haha.

My favorite oddball white marking on a tobiano marked horse was on a black and white filly. She had these weird patches of white right between her hind legs, made her look like she had foam built up between her hind legs. In fact, if you took a horse with foam build up between their back legs and made it turn into white hairs, that is exactly what it looked like. I have never seen anything like it. Same filly also had a near perfect circle cut out right by her white withers on one side.

It's just part of her pinto pattern. Just like the rest of her white. Pinto markings just go by the gene names, they don't have labels like "stock, stocking" etc. After awhile you'd run out of names they are so differen!

Now what I find interesting is it looks like the white on her leg wants to connect to it but is blocked off by the dark, it's neat to see how the different pinto genes "war" sometimes.

I knew a mare with a perfect heart on the outside of the leg in the exact same spot.
